Ewaish* stands together with her daughter Mizgen* in front of her hut near Shingal City. ISIS kidnapped them in August 2014 and took them to Raqqa. Ewaish parents have been killed by ISIS when trying to flee and the remain of Ewaish's other ten year old daughter is unknown. Ewaish escaped her captors two weeks ago. She lives now with her husband and Mizgen in a provisional hut because her village is still in the hands of ISIS. (*names have been changed). Shingal (Sinjar), Iraq, August 27, 2015
