Shirin’s* greatest wish is to have the money to get her 11-year-old daughter released from ISIS. Her husband and a son, too, were disappeared when ISIS took control of her home village Khanasor. To manage the release of herself and two of her children it has cost 30,000 USD. Since ISIS captivity her children having a lot of problems and they are very afraid of every noise. For Shirin it’s difficult to cope with her children behaviours. Currently Shirin lives together with five other families in a house. The conditions are difficult and she says she would need help to live here – or to go to another place. (*name changed) Khanke, July 18, 2016
