Kobane-2015-9739.jpg

Baker Muslim Mostafa who is originally near the northern Syrian town Jarabulus, opened a small bakery in Kobanê a year ago. Then, during the fight against ISIS he temporary went to Turkey. According to the 27-year-old the situation sometimes is difficult in Kobane: there is a lack of electricity and not enough gas, which is why he has to run his bread oven with wood. When his hometown is liberated, he would like to return and sell Lahmacun and pastries there as in past times. Kobanê. Kobanê (Ayn al-Arab), Syria, June 21, 2015
