Gule is originally from Solagh, a village located east of Sinjar city and lives now in an unofficial camp near Dohuk. She was able to flee ISIS captivity but five of her children aged between 13 and 28 years are still abducted. Gule fears that her husband and her sons could be killed by ISIS and throwed in one of the mass graves. In Solagh her family were farmers with a good life but now, there is no place where they could go, she says. And as long as their husbands are disappeard they never could return back home.
